Mr. Morris C. Gill, 83, of Oakfield died Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Pruitt Health of Sylvester.
The graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the Oakfield Cemetery. The Rev. Grady Morey will officiate.
Mr. Gill was born on June 17, 1934 in Ashburn GA to the late Albert & Laura Louise Downs Gill. He had lived in Worth County all of his life and was self employed as an Automotive Parts Recycler. Mr. Gill enjoyed collecting cars, coins, antiques and loved fishing and dancing. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Survivors include his daughter, Cathy Williams (Randy DeGuire) of Crowley, TX; grandson, Larry Cobb (Christine) of Arlington TX; great granddaughter, Angela Cobb of Arlington TX; brother, A.W Gill (Carole) of Oakfield; sisters, Vonnice Brown (Harlan) of Oakfield and Betty Lindsey of Sylvester; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Gill was preceded in death by his sisters, Blondine Gill Kennedy and Patsy Gill Hall.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Banks Funeral Home.
