Mrs. Eunice Harris Maples, 68, of Poulan died Friday January 12, 2018 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville FL.
A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday January 16, 2018 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment in the Liberty Hill Cemetery. Rev. Kevin Johnson and Rev. Rocky Duckworth will officiate.
Mrs. Maples was born in Worth County on February 7, 1949 to the late Otis "O.B." Baxter & Fannie Bernice Douglas Harris. She had lived in Worth County all of her life and was a retired teacher with the Head Start Program. Mrs. Maples was a long time faithful member of Faith Community Fellowship Church.
Survivors include her children, Shondia Johnson (Kyle) of Sylvester, Marsha Maxson of Camilla, Dianna Fitzgerald of Poulan, Bobby Anglon (Kecia) of Worth County; grandchildren, Danny Camp, Curtis Duckworth, Destiny Peace (Brandon), Donald Johnson, Aaron Short, Christina Singleton and Kyle Johnson, Jr.; great grandchildren, Kaydn Camp, Taylor camp, Bentley Peace and Rayleigh Peace; brothers, Randall Harris, Fleman Harris and Vaughn Harris.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Maples was preceded in death by her husband, Winston Maples and sister, Florence Jackson.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 at Banks Funeral Home.
