Mr. Don A. Hall, 72, of Sylvester died Sunday May 21, 2017 at Wynfield Health and Rehabilitation in Albany.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with the interment to follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. The Rev. Danny Story will officiate.
Mr. Hall was born on July 19, 1944 in Albany to the late Norman A. and Rheudene Spillers Hall. He was a 1962 graduate of Worth County High School who enjoyed racing stock cars and cooking for family and friends. Mr. Hall was the first pilot to solo at Sylvester Airport and one of the first people in Worth County to barefoot ski. Mr. Hall was an avid sportsman who enjoyed training bird dogs. He was a former member of Worth Lodge 194 F. & A.M. and retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad.
Survivors include his wife Sherry Holton Hall of Sylvester; two sons, Derek Hall of Tallahassee and Darin Hall (Leslie) of Albany; grandchildren, Eric, Taylor and Easton Hunter; sister, Nancy H. Dawson (Randy) and brother, Michael Hall (Judy) all of Sylvester.
Mr. Hall was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Hall.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the service hour at Banks Funeral Home Chapel.
