Many fond memories from our days as single guys running around the nightclubs in the early 70's. He introduced me to my wife of 47 years who was working at the hospital at that time. So sorry that I found out too late to attend. RIP old friend.

Jimmy,
I am sorry to learn of the passing of your father. I understand that pain and my heart is toward you in these days. Please give my sympathies to Norman as well. I will be praying for you both in the days ahead. God bless you Jimmy.

Candle

"Blessed are the Merciful, for they shall obtain Mercy"...Norman was above All things Merciful and filled with Compassion. Long after doctors quit making house calls, Norman could be seen in all areas with his Black Bag making house calls. He went where people were sick and hurting as long as he practiced...When "times changed" --- Norman didn't.

When I was 11 years old, he had to do an emergency surgery on me. My mother: Carolyn Bass Watson Dickens (his first cousin) "scrubbed" and assisted him in the surgery. Working on close Family is "a whole different ball game," I feel sure. That was 61 years ago---and I am living because of Norman.

I have Never known life without Norman. The picture here is so Adorable! I remember him looking just like that...I was little---and you see that refrigerator in the background where he kept medicines. We All had refrigerators just like that "way back then." My how time flies, but no matter how long he lived, it hurts terribly bad to have to given him up.

Our Comfort is: When he closed his eyes in this life, he opened them in Heaven, and there is Jesus, and All of our Family REJOICING---because THEY have been waiting for him...David is there, and Betty Ann will join them also on GOD's Timetable.

"THAT GREAT FAMILY REUNION IN HEAVEN AWAITS THE CHILD OF GOD..."

Love always, "Dusty"
